Welcome! SOBECC Brazil has a new President, congratulations to Rosa Maria Pelegrini Fonseca.

ICN Conference 2003
The ICN conference was moved to Geneva with five weeks notice. Despite this a conference with 94 nations were represented. It was an exciting and different conference with a wealth of impressive speakers in the general sessions and a host of practitioners from countries from all over, describing research and clinical projects of every sort imaginable. It was a most stimulating and interesting conference. There was plenty of time for networking and many delegates gathered in small groups to discuss sessions, ideas and compare issues in their respective countries.
In order to make the most of these contacts, in future, IFPN must produce it’s promotional material for potential members so that it is available to give people. Business cards are really not enough!
A full report will be made to CNR in October at the meeting.

World Conference news
AORN has announced that there will not be a World Conference in 2004, and the next will be held in 2005. No venue has been announced.

IFPN /ACORN Seminar will be held in Adelaide, South Australia on Wednesday 28 April 2004. We must devise some extensive promotion for this date, and increase the IFPN exposure in this area of the world in 2004.
